Ragazzi Furniture

If you are like me you are familiar with some of the big name-brand crib and children’s furniture manufacturers such as Graco, Da Vinci and Stork Craft. And if you are like me, you’ve never heard of Ragazzi Furniture. When I was asked to review Ragazzi’s product line I was #1 a bit surprised that I didn’t recognize the name and #2 I was surprised to learn that Ragazzi Furniture is a division of Stork Craft.

Stork Craft, as you may or may not know, has been building baby cribs and children’s furniture for over 60 years. They are an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of high quality products for children.

Superior Wood Furniture

So if Stork Craft makes such great products, what’s Ragazzi all about? Ragazzi, which means ‘boys and girls’ in Italian, is the high-end division of Stork Craft. Ragazzi Furniture is pricey but you get what you pay for. Ragazzi Furniture only uses high-end solid wood materials such as Birch, Cherry, Maple and Oak.  They also use the highest quality veneers that give owners the combination of beauty and strength.

The Ragazzi Furniture Product Line

Ragazzi Furniture has two series of products, Series I and Series II. I wonder how you say ‘series’ in Italian? Each series has three lines of furniture:

Series I

• Classico
• Etruria
• Pompei

Series II

• Fantasia
• Mirella
• Tropicale

The ‘Series I’ product lines consist of Chests, Cribs, Beds, Gliders and Furniture Accessories. ‘Series II’, with the exception of the Gliders, is identical to ‘Series I’.  Following is a summary of Ragazzi Furniture’s six product lines… I have borrowed the product write-ups from Ragazzi’s Website because it’s important for you to see that they take their Italian Theme very seriously… just as they take quality and craftsmanship seriously.

Ragazzi Furniture Series I

Classico

Classico is the heart of Italy’s finest red wine district. Made from Sangiovese grapes, the Chianti from this region is a bright, ruby-red with a scent of violets. Like a Chianti Classico, Classico by Ragazzi Fine Furniture is the finest product in the region. Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail produce a rare vintage like none other.

Etruria

Etruria existed in Central Italy and served as inspiration for much of Greco-Roman culture, architecture and design. The Etruscans gave to the Greeks the arch and the Olympic God, while the Romans built masterpieces like the Capitolium, Cloaca Maxima and Via Sacra under the rule of Etruscan kings. Etruria by Ragazzi Fine Furniture preserves a legacy of advanced styling and inspirational design.

Pompei

Pompei was known for its lively atmosphere and elaborate architecture. A vacation spot for the Roman elite, this artistic metropolis boasted bathhouses, an amphitheatre and a cella natatoriua. Fantasia

Fantasia is fantasy, an unorthodox musical exploration that draws upon the art of improvisation. Mirella

Tropicale

Tropicale is the promise of an exotic adventure, a journey to an island paradise of pearl-white buildings and turquoise seas.
